The Motorola Edge series has been teased for release in India later this month. The smartphone that will be presented is expected to be the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro flagship smartphone was also expected to be released late last month in both domestic and worldwide markets. The smartphone is supposed to be a rebranded version of the MotoEdge X30, which was released in China last year, although it will have a slightly different look. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will most likely power the Motorola Edge 30 Pro.

According to a teaser posted on Twitter by Motorola, a new Motorola Edge-series smartphone will be released in India on February 24. The tweet does not specify which smartphone would be released in the nation, but if a report from late last month is to be believed, it may be the Motorola Edge 30 Pro.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro technical specs (expected)

As previously stated, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is thought to be a repackaged Moto Edge X30 that was released in China in December. The next Motorola Edge 30 Pro is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. It will apparently run Android 12 out of the box, with a MyUX skin on top. The phone is rumoured to include a 6.7-inch full-HD+ POLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and HDR10+ compatibility.

According to reports, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro would have a triple back camera arrangement led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. Along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, it is rumoured to have. It is said to include a 60-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. The forthcoming Motorola smartphone is believed to include a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging capabilities.

In terms of design, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro and Moto Edge X30 have slightly distinct aesthetics. The Motorola branding will apparently be positioned just beneath the vertically mounted rear camera module on the former, whilst it will be placed in the centre on the latter. In contrast to the side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Moto Edge X30, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is believed to include an under-display fingerprint sensor.
