This week, Apple expanded its self-service repair shop in the United States and some European countries to include parts and tools for all M4 Macs. This covers components for M4, M4 Pro, and/or M4 Max chips used in MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac mini variants.
Since its inception in 2022, Apple's self-service repair program has enabled consumers to perform do-it-yourself repairs by providing them with the same authentic Apple parts, tools, and manuals that the Genius Bar at Apple Stores and Apple Authorised Service Providers use. You may find M4 Mac repair manuals on Apple's website.
Displays, logic boards, speakers, trackpads, keyboard and battery-equipped top cases, SSD modules, USB-C connectors, fans, Wi-Fi antennae, and other parts are available for purchase for M4 Macs, depending on the model.
In addition, the self-service repair shop sells replacement Beats Pill speaker batteries and parts for a variety of iPhone models and the Studio Display. The application is "intended for individuals who are experienced with the complexities of repairing electronic devices," according to Apple, and the repair guides contain crucial safety instruction.
